Is the adhesive on glass jar labels toxic?
I was making jam today, and boiled some old jars to sterilise them, but these jars had remains of label glue on them. I didn’t think of this when I was canning the jam, but afterwards I realised that there was little bits of glue residue dust both inside and outside the jars. Is it safe to eat?

You can easily remove this glue by buying special ’sprays that will erase the glue. However, if you have any WD40, this will do exactly the same thing. Make sure you wash the jar well afterwards just to remove the smell.
